With Countdown 2010 you can. Biodiversity is at the heart of our activities, and more than 150 partners from all over Europe work with us to halt its loss over the coming years. Hosted by the World Conservation Union’s Regional Office for Europe, the initiative reaches out to governments and local authorities, non-governmental organisations and private businesses.
In 2007, we want to better engage our partners in Countdown 2010’s work, and anchor biodiversity as an important issue in the public’s perception. We need your help to reach our ambitious goals.
Your role:

You work closely with Countdown 2010’s Network Development Officer in recruiting partners to the network, deepening their engagement, building national hubs and organising meetings. Your tasks include maintenance of the supporter database, collection of success stories from partners and contributions to newsletter and website. From time to time, you help with the development of project proposals, the preparation of events and other matters arising.

Your profile:

We offer a six-months internship in Brussels, starting in February 2007. Interns receive an allowance of 600 EUR/month.
